| How to use | The surface to be finished must be carefully sanded and free of dust, dirt and other foreign materials. Depending on the level of wear on the old surface, this could be done either by relacquering or by sanding down the surface. The temperature of the floor should not be below 14°C nor exceed 28°C. Ideal is a 20°C floor temperature and a relative humidity of 55%. Add the hardener to the Lacquer and mix thoroughly before use. Open and allow time for air to vaporize prior to application (10 minutes). To be used within 4 hours. Always test the finish on a smaller area to ensure colour and adhesion. Apply with roller, brush or applicator. Relacquering: Clean the surface using Kährs Remover and then wash the floor with clean water with a slightly damp cloth. Use a little water as possible. Recommended application: 1 coat, coverage 0,1 l/m² Sanding down: Recommended application: 2-3 coats. Buff/screed the floors after first coat. Minimum recommended thickness for coverage is 0,25 l/m2, total amount. Be very careful when using the surface during the first four weeks. Use water to clean tools before finish has hardened. |
